Nine Core Attitudes of Mindfulness Video

In his video, Kabat-Zinn breaks down these attitudes as ways to approach life with more awareness and presence. He talks about things like non-judging, patience, and letting go. Simple ideas, but surprisingly hard to live out. It’s not about fixing anything, but about accepting what’s already here. Easy to get caught up in striving or overthinking instead of just being. A solid reminder to slow down and reconnect with the moment.

This is one of my favorite videos because everything is broken down into simplicity. It’s so easy to go down a rabbit hole when healing. Sometimes judgment gets in my way, and I’ve had to learn how to really let go. Let go let go. Super relative to the saying I love, “Let go, let God,” which I mention in one of my posts. The current theme in my life is having the beginner’s mindset with everything.

The beginner’s mind is humbling. It’s the willingness to approach something as if you’ve never done it before, without assuming you already know the outcome. It means being open to new ways, new rhythms, and even new failures because sometimes things fall apart before they come together in a better way.
