Going Deeper With My Affirmation Practice

I’ve been doing some self-work and self-discovery lately. A mentor I respect recommended his app focused on affirmations, and since I’m already big on them, I decided to fully lean in.

I use it first thing in the morning and then throughout the day whenever I need a reset. The app has seven different affirmation sections that I either read aloud or listen to. I’ve been consistent for nine days straight, and the shifts I’m noticing are real: better relationships, improved physical and mental health, even changes in my finances and work.

I’ve been working on something called the “red zone,” which are moments when I slip back into old patterns despite my growth. Seeing my own self-sabotage in action is hard, but I’m learning to work through it. My body has been pushing back too. I’ve felt low energy, a little nauseous on some days (and no, I’m not pregnant, lol), but I know that’s part of the transformation.

And then, right after I started the affirmations, life surprised me. I got engaged earlier than I expected. Clients have been moving faster in their decisions too, and I’ve noticed myself responding to others with more ease. Things still affect me sometimes, but less often, and I can come back to myself quicker. It all comes back to self-worth and knowing my value. That’s what I’m working on now, deep diving, healing, learning.

I’ve been using the Self-Worth Training Center app by Self Worth Foundation. It’s free, by the way!

Another way to detox: Cleansing Foot Pads.

Lately, I’ve been using cleansing foot pads, and they’ve quickly become one of my favorite nightly rituals. My sister introduced me to them, and now I can’t imagine my evenings without them. I put them on before bed, and by morning I feel lighter, refreshed, and ready to start the day. There’s a real sense of waking up renewed that I enjoy.
